Introduce Yourself!
Once you become a member of the Artfelt® Forum come in and introduce yourself! Feel free to copy and paste this intro and fill in your info as you see fit or come up with your own!
How did you chose your name: My dad’s nickname for me since I was little. I have curly hair so instead of CurlyQ I was SquirrellyQ. How long have you been in the creative arts: For as long as I can remember! I was a Campfire Girl all growing up and anything that could be cut/pasted/sewn/stapled/molded/stiched/etc. I was all over it. I recently learned how to knit and The Feisty Felter taught me how to Artfelt®. Tell us something about yourself: I am a huge computer geek. I love anything electronic. I am also the biggest kid you will ever meet. I still watch Saturday morning cartoons, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are my heroes, and any animation that comes out of Japan is my passion. Favorite Artfelt® piece: I love the yarn scarves. I have made a few and I intend to make several more.

How did you chose your name: It's a long, long story.
How long have you been in the creative arts: Going on 11 years now. Tell us something about yourself: I love to travel, love cars, love my job and enjoy eating bamboo (as all Pandas do). Favorite artfelt® piece: I really like all of the scarves! They're easy to make, yet look store bought!

How did you chose your name?: This is my second name on this site. The first was kind of weird, so I deleted it. This name is just something that came to me and is fun. My sister always refers to me as Fish Lips or Fish Head or some other play on fish (our maiden name is Herring).
How long have you been in the creative arts?: I've been crafting all my life. I have always enjoyed working with my hands, and the finer the work, the better. Give me a 000000 needle and thread, and I'm yours (I know they're out there, but I have yet to acquire a set of sextuple aught needles)! Tell us something about yourself: I lost my mom to cancer at a young age, and regret the youthful angst that kept me from learning all the things she knew about knitting and sewing! I had to reteach myself years later and have kept at it ever since. I am a craft starter but not necessarily a finisher, because I am more interested in HOW something is done than in the end result. Once I've mastered how to do something, I move on. Artfelt is the newest craft I have taken on, and I love it. It allows me to create lovely pieces quickly and see them to completion. Favorite Artfelt® piece?: I don't think I've found it yet, though the shawls have given me the most satisfaction.
